Todd Westerlin
Todd was claimed by horror at age six. George Romero's Dead Trilogy, Michael Jackson's Thriller music video on repeat, and Friday nights watching Joe Bob Briggs on TNT's Monstervision made him a lifer.
"I was always the horror nerd — showing up to school in a Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Dawn of the Dead shirt, trading VHS tapes and discovering hidden gems nobody else had heard of."
"Aaron and I embraced our horror fandom even back when people looked at you like a weirdo for wearing a Fulci Zombie shirt to school. We bonded over these films because they gave us an escape from shitty parents and that connection never went away."
He studied Audio Video Communications, worked as a freelance videographer, went back to school for Information Technology, and spent 15 years as a Software QA Engineer. A year ago he returned to his creative roots full-time, producing podcasts, videos, live streams, events, and interviews under the Revival House banner.
"My ultimate goal for Revival House is to teach the next generation of horror fans about the history of this genre, the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Not just a subgenre, but the whole picture. How horror has evolved and genuinely changed people's lives for the better."
